Before the coffee, before the food and before the queues, there was a dad, a dream and a lot of hard work.

This Father's Day, we're celebrating Mem — founder of Route, Arsenal fan, professional problem-solver and full-time girl dad. Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing stories from life as a father and the man behind Route.

The winning entry will be selected by the Route team based on creativity, humour and originality.
The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message on Wednesday 17 June 2026.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize consists of one £50 Route e-voucher, valid on Sunday 21 June 2026 only at Cafe Route Dalston or Cafe Route Haggerston.
Each tagged account counts as one entry, up to a maximum of five entries per person.
The prize must be redeemed in person at Cafe Route Dalston or Cafe Route Haggerston on Sunday 21 June 2026 between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
The winner must be able to attend and redeem the prize on this date.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative.
The winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted. If no response is received, Cafe Route reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
